What Are Gentle Lifts?

Lip lines, smile lines, and marionette lines, how can Frownies help? Meet Frownies Gentle Lifts: the non-invasive solution to improve these fine lines and wrinkles. These innovative, self-adhesive patches are specifically crafted to target fine lines and wrinkles in delicate facial areas like around the lips, at the corners of the eyes, and between the eyebrows.

Each patch is designed to fit snugly on small areas where Frownies’ Original Facial Patches might be too large, sitting comfortably above and below the lips or in between the eyebrows.

Smokers lines, lipstick lines, vertical lines, call them what you will; we don’t like them. Smoking, drinking through a straw and general facial expression can all lead to horizontal and vertical lines around the lips. Worn overnight or for at least three hours, Gentle Lifts create a gentle yet effective cast, holding the skin smooth to help soften existing lines.

Gentle Lifts are small, self-sticking, cotton-lined patches with a stiff centre, similar to a cotton-lined band-aid, and they’re reusable. Stick a used patch on a clean smooth surface and reuse it as often as the adhesive will allow.

How to Apply for Best Results ▾

1. Prepare Your Skin: Start with a clean, dry face. Apply your regular skincare products and allow them to fully absorb. This ensures that the patches adhere properly and perform effectively.

2. Peel and Position: Gently peel the backing off to reveal the adhesive side. Position the Gentle Lift over the targeted area, ensuring it covers the entire line or wrinkle you wish to smooth.

3. Press and Hold: Firmly press down on the patch and hold it in place for several seconds to secure it. When you first apply the Gentle Lifts they can peel off easily, so hold them in place without facial movement for several seconds. The grip strengthens the longer they are worn.

4. Create a Smooth Cast: The goal is to create a stiff layer that holds the skin smooth and limits muscle movement underneath. Ensure the patch is smoothed out without any wrinkles or creases for the best results.

5. Longer Contact, Better Results: For optimal results, leave the Gentle Lifts on for several hours or overnight. The longer they are in contact with the skin, the more effective they will be.

6. Gentle Removal: To remove, stabilise the skin with one hand and gently peel off the patch with the other. If the patch feels too tight, use a little warm water to help loosen it without causing any stress to the skin. Save the backing and reapply the patch to it for reuse.

We recommend using Gentle Lifts every night for 30 days. After you have achieved the results you’re looking for, you may be able to wear them less often for maintenance.

Gentle Lifts are small, self-sticking, cotton-lined patches with a stiff centre, similar to a cotton-lined band-aid. There are no active ingredients in Gentle Lifts; they work according to the same mechanical process as the Original Frownies Facial Patches, acting as a mini splint for the smaller areas where they are applied.

Just like the Frownies Facial Patches, Gentle Lifts are breathable because of the cotton lining and soft edges. They are latex and silicone free to minimise the risk of allergic reactions, and are HRIPT tested under dermatologist-controlled safety testing to ensure they are hypoallergenic and non-irritating, making them suitable for even the most sensitive skin types.
